Aside from the immediate and obvious convienience I feel this product stays within the water column longer and as such allows the jellyfish to continue to feed upon it for a longer period of time.

Unopened bottles can be stored at room temperature for over 18 months. After opening the content remains fresh for another 7 days if kept refrigerated. One 20 gram bottle contains in excess of 1.5 million freshly hatched nauplii.
